VENUES READY FOR MEN'S U21 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN TIJUANA AND MEXICALI

Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico, September 8, 2015 - The facilites at the Baja California High Performance Centre in Tijuana and at the State Auditorium in Mexicali are ready to receive the 16 teams participating in the 2015 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship, which begins on Friday.

Several teams have held training camps ahead of the competition. Among them are the national squads of Mexico, Egypt, China, Japan, Canada, the United States and Italy.

Mexico host this age group World Championship for the first time ever. Brazil and Bahrain are the only two countries which have already hosted the competition twice. The list of the competition's other hosts includes USA, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Argentina, Malaysia, Thailand, Poland, Iran, Morocco and Turkey.
