FRANCE WORKED WELL WITH FUNDAMENTALS TO CONTROL JAPAN

Mexicali, Mexico, September 11, 2015 - For coach Jocelyn Trillon the first victory at the FIVB Men's U21 World Championship helped his team to build confidence.
Working well with fundamentals was very important when facing asian teams like Japan. Because they always try to play fast to control the ball.
Trillon remarked that Japan showed a good performance, especially in the third set. French captain Luca Basic also remarked that about the Japanese team that tried to surprise and get back on the game. However missing the blocking game was in part key to the lost of Japan, according to coach Shingo Sakai.
¨France team use two fundamental guns the blocks and reception, they were better on the court field and knew how to use our team mistakes,¨ he said.
Pool D is too strong according to Sakai and they have to improve for the next game vs Eslovenia. "Despite we were thinking about Italy, we could not dismiss France, that played very well".
Japanese team leader, Tsubasa Hisahara, admitted his team made mistakes, and that was the reason of the first 2 sets by losing them 25-23 and 26-24.
¨If we had won the 3rd set that would gave us the confidence we needed to keep it up, but it we could not because France took our weakness to win. We feel good for the support of people on the venue. They were very nice with us," Hisahara said.
