DOUGLAS SOUZA LEADS BRAZILIAN ATTACK TO BEAT CUBA


Mexicali, Mexico, September 11, 2015 - Brazil is off to a great start at FIVB Men’s U-21 Volleyball World Championship after beating Cuba in three sets (25-21, 25-18, 25-15). 
Douglas Souza contributed with his offensive game with a total of 13 points, 11 which he gained from hits near the attackline; Caio Oliveira also stood out with 6 points.
Brazil’s star, Douglas Souza, who also plays for his own men’s national team was the mayor weapon not only in offense but also in defense along with Rodrigo Leao and Captain Fernando Kreling.
On the Cuban side, Osmany Uriarte led his teams’ charts with a total of 10 points, followed by Miguel López with 6 power hits.
